Apartments Makarska

Host picked me up from Wharf, arranged a taxi on departure. Husband helped with heavy suitcase. Deck had lovely lavender and rosemary fragrance, mountain view. Good communication with welcoming host. Clean, modern rooms with good shower. Convenient parking facilities. Location okay, a little far from centre but handy with car. Swimming pool exceeded expectations, with separate levels for barbecue, sunbathing. Children's house with turtle house and slide. Land development top notch. Clean, fully equipped room with working air conditioning. Private parking on site. Great location, 1.5km from centre, away from crowds. Nice, clean and very quiet with pool view. Owners were very nice. Close to beach, Konzum, bakery, coffee shops within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Free Wifi was good and a washing machine. 2 separate bedrooms that were spacious.

The building is not finished. It claims to be brand new but in fact is not quite ready. The furniture are old hand me downs and the beds were so uncomfortable we need to use blankets under the sheet to stop the coils from being felt. There was no kettle with which to boil water. The DVD and cd player are actually in a very old computer which didnt have a full screen at times. The location is also deceiving on the website. The beach is a 15 min walk down a very steep hill and the city centre is at least 30 mins away.

The balcony view over the massive mountain was jaw-dropping, the hosts were super nice and helpful. The big parking in front of the building was a mind-blowing surprise, especially after visiting Dubrovnik :-D The host picked me up from the Wharf on arrival, arranged a taxi for me on departure, and her husband even carried my heavy suitcase to my room - very appreciated! I loved spending time on the deck, enjoying the fragrance of lavender and rosemary from the hillside while admiring the mountain view. The apartment was big and perfect for traveling with children. The kitchen had all the necessary cookware and utensils. The Wi-Fi was good, the service was friendly, and the host's accurate directions made it easy to find the apartment in the outskirts of the city. The apartment also had an electric kettle, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. Exciting outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, fishing, and diving were easily accessible. And for some extra fun, there were water slides and an aqua park nearby. The outdoor dining area and sun loungers were perfect for relaxation. Families with children would appreciate the children's play area and the availability of cots. The seasonal outdoor pool and heated swimming pool were great amenities. Plus, the fact that no pets were allowed ensured a clean and comfortable stay. Lastly, the non-smoking rooms were a bonus. my stay at Apartments Makarska was a fantastic experience with excellent facilities and a host who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort.

We had a great xmas stay at these apartments! The owners were really nice and accommodating. We were given a large and comfortable apartment with an awesome terrace. It had two bedrooms and three bathrooms, which was perfect for our group of travelers. Plus, there was a gym on the ground floor and a large private parking area, which was a big plus. The apartment also had a convenient location, with plenty of markets, shops, and bakeries nearby.

That the apartments were located quite a way up a hill. So, if you're not in good shape, it can be a tiring walk back from the beach.
